Mr Parlanchin is a ventriloquist dummy from the 1970’s, I’m not sure why my Mum ended up with him but he has been around our home since I can remember. I watched horror films at a young age and was convinced this guy was going to come alive and try to kill me! I have a new collaboration coming up and this little fellow is involved, watch this space!
Oh and do you like the suit, shirt and tie I’ve made him?
Well you always find you have leftovers after doing made to measure for myself and other people, this month my nice has benefited from these. Here are a couple of tunic tops and a dress I’ve made her, pretty cute!
In one of the earlier posts I have written about a client called Anne-Marie. She ordered two of the dolly mini dresses because she had seen me in the hummingbird print. I love this dress so much because it’s so flattering, especially if you have curves! x
A new collaboration will be happening at Violet Flamingo, a photographer has approached me to do something fun and bizarre, we’ve made plans for our first shoot, it’s defiantly going to be fun and totally bizarre.
Well Janine is a returning customer of mine and owns a beautiful coffee shop in Newton-le-Willows, http://chouxchouxbedoo.co.uk/ . Janine always goes for quite a similar style with slight alterations to the details and not the fit. All her dresses have the similar 1950’s style bodice and full skirt. As she is a returning customer her dresses work out a little cheaper, this is something I offer all my clients. Now Janine has patterns filed away at the studio so they are ready to make any slight amendments, then just make up.
