Buying online can sometimes be tricky due to sizing and if you are unsure about quality of materials.
I always aim to use the highest quality fabrics available. If you’re interested in a pieces from the ready-to-wear range but are unsure of the material, I’m currently offering a free sample service. You can order a sample cutting and it will be delivered to your home to have a feel for yourself. Just use the contact page on the site to request a cutting.
If you order a Violet Flamingo ready-to-wear garment and it is manufactured then sent out, don’t worry if it doesn’t fit quite right or it’s just not for you. Customers can return any piece purchased from the site, regardless of whether it’s been made up especially for your order.
Unfortunately the online store is not quite ready, should all be live by next week. Also on the 15th I am doing my ready-to-wear collection shoot. Not long until there are lots of lovely new products to purchase. Xx
Well with the new ready-to-wear collection about to be launched I should warn a few of you, if you don’t wear black you’re not going to have many other options tehe.
There will be other colours in the range but for these to be key pieces you can wear again I won’t be running a massive colour palette.
The favourites now are black, greys, blues, violet, plums and nudes.
Last season ready-to-wear clients –
I know a lot of you who used to buy the old range off me might not like the new direction. If are looking to purchase another style you already have, for example you have Penelope, I can re-make these, just get in touch, I still have all the old patterns and via e-mail you can pick materials to have it made again in a different print.
The new website is here!!!
Violet Flamingo is planning a new collection shoot for the 15th of March, keep your eyes on the store, as soon as the images are edited they’ll be going online!
The ready-to-wear range will not be trend led, the items you can purchase should be worn again and again and suitable for many occasions. During the shoot I’m hoping to do some fun little things to show you different ways of wearing your limited edition piece, involves video cameras, which scares me.
All of the ready-to-wear is still manufactured within Ebor Studio, Littleborough.
The Kira trench coat is a ready-to-wear pattern, this particular one is made from an olive British wool with a wine coloured lining. This comes in sizes 8-18, if you would like to have one of these made up just get in touch, via e-mail we can choose materials and create you a unique coat.
